Evil Dead: The Musical
In making your list of should-be musical theater productions, you've likely considered the Evil Dead series, right? Fortunately for you, Montreal's Just for Laughs comedy festival has put together just that, believe it or not, for this year's festival.
A special run will happen in Toronto on the week of June 22nd before moving to Montreal for a full run.

I'd warn you of the play's annoying flash page. It's got some abient sounds and gunshots which may not be appropriate for your workplaces. I'd warn you, but you should be working anyway! Slackers! The whole lot of you!

I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing a production of SILENCE! Scilence of the Lambs: The Musical.

Could we please cut down on the Mefi commercial plugs? We can't all just hop on a jet to toronto to see the latest production!

Jeez, I thought that the fact Evil Dead was being produced as a musical play was notable, especially to fans of the series. Other than that, Canadians (Just for Laughs is televised) might like to know when they can see it. And who knows? Maybe it'll travel.
Would it be any different to make a front page post on a play opening on broadway?

Will Zombie Reagan be making a cameo?

Hey! I designed the posters for Evil Dead: The Musical (the first run, last year)... the production crew are good friends of mine. My biggest claim to fame about it is that apparently people were stealing the posters and selling them on eBay.

I'm slightly bitter that this new run didn't use any of my posters, which I think were far superior.

You can see the original and the remount posters on my site.

(FYI: I didn't make the website)

I've actually seen this, I was lucky enough to catch some of the opening-night-impromptu-during-great-2003-blackout performance. Good stuff.

That's why it's not a commercial plug.
