A new Samarost-style game brought to us by Amanita, the same folks who authored Samarost. You can see the same style, although this one is actually a band advertisement and is much shorter and easier than Samarost.

Spoiler alert: when you solve the puzzles, you hear Polyphonic Spree music! And it sounds just like the last album!!

I personally think The Legendary Pink Dots and The Flaming Lips pull off the same shtick better, musically.

I was going to post this, but wasn't sure, as its an advertisment.

Yeah, nothing happens for me either. Click the people and turtle and they "move" but they don't go anywhere.

Hint: try clicking the spores on the cactus.

This game is confusing, but fun. I never played Samarost, but I plan to now.

I tried clicking on the spores on the cactus (before I read your comment, too) but all that does is make a rat come out of the hole and eat them. I tried clicking the turtle thing as the rat came out, to see if he would go eat the rat, but that wouldn't work.

Thanks Mach. finished it and Samarost now. :)

I personally think The Legendary Pink Dots and The Flaming Lips pull off the same shtick better, musically.

If it reminds me of anything, it's Mercury Rev.

Samarost is a beautiful game. I found it months back via LittleFluffy and spent an evening playing it and passing it along to my friends. The same folks also did Rocketman which is also a Nike ad.

It's kind of clever, if you think about it. I vastly prefer a free ad-based game over a popup window or banner ad.

Actually, the song to the first level is really, really growing on me.

whoshotwho, try clicking on the other spores whilst the rat is eating the first one to fall on the ground.
