Photographic Memories: 1990-2001. Subjects include Tibet, Vietnam, Switzerland from above, Portugal, some portraits, a wedding, a baby, and more.
Seriously, someone please explain to me why this is so great. Compared to, say, Garret's work.

Yay, plep is back! Nice link, my friend. I particularly liked the Nepal series. Thanks! I hope you will not be such a stranger around here ;-)
billsaysthis: it's a collection of travel pics. The site offers perspectives on some interesting places that I, for one, enjoyed - why does a comparison need to be made?

Well I'd say the FPP photo's just displayed a better eye for composition of the image, but that doesn't mean Garret's stuff is worthless. Plus the FPP has N.Norway pics, for which I am always a sucker.

Is it me, or did they have multiple wedding ceremonies and / or wedding parties?
If so, this makes it all the better.

I guess I'm just unsophisticated when it comes to photography. Mind you, I'm not criticizing this or the numerous other similar photo gallery FPPs, I really am just trying to understand why this is particularly good and offered Garret as an example that appeals to me (though I can't explain why except perhaps friendship is biasing me).
