And you thought the 2600 was dead... no way, baby. It's alive and kicking and oh-so-groovy. (Warning: link leads to big ass movie. Slow connections beware.)
This takes me back. It reminds me of the cool eye candy that hackers would put in front of hacked C=64 and Amiga games.

Atari must be in the air this week. First the Handheld Atari 2600 [via robotwisdom/kottke] and now this. It makes me feel old and young at the same time. I also have a sudden desire to pull out the Catakig emulator and play some Olympic Decathlon on the old G4...
And that Matrix bit was brilliant.

I'm proud to say that this video was produced here in Brazil by the same people who produced the best eletronic music video MTV's Video Music Brazil.

If there's any more work by the people who did this (preferably along the same lines :-) I'd _LOVE_ to see it.
Or at the very least, if anyone has links to these peoples' website I'd love to wander 'round there for a while.
This .mov effectively shut down my office for half an hour as people were running around going "That is so fucking cool! Play it again!"
