is that "crash" series for real?

Thanks dobbs (photography links are always appreciated). To my eye, there are some really wonderful pictures in there, but also quite a lot of "meh" (the Bangkok portraits in particular could have been really interesting, instead they're pretty bland snapshots).

biscotti, did you see my post from yesterday? Might be up your alley.

Is there a specific reason why I can't select a section from the menu?

The photos look promising but they're as tough as hell to get to.

yeah but the last shot in the crash series was really poignant, oh my god.

There were a few great pictures, many mediocre pictures, and some that were straight out of ogrish.com Anyone can take sick snuff pics... maybe he was trying to be arty or something.

meridian - honestly i could have done without the ogrish link, i had to go there and i wish i hadn't.

sourbrew - Ok, I realize that was like creating a giant red pulsating button with the words "don't press me" next to it. But I just meant to point out that some of the horrific and bloody crash photos were just like you'd see at that sickening website.

I'm wondering how he got that crash series. They look incredibly real, but if they are, how did he get to take them? I can't see emergency personnel just letting him do that, and the idea of him taking pictures if he was first on the scene is a repugnant one.

I think the crash pictures were also from Thailand. A few dollars goes a long way towards getting people to be cooperative, over there.
