RealClimate is a blog written by nine working climatologists from around the world (all experts in their field), focusing on explaining climate science, providing context to current reports in the mainstream media, and rebutting the fallacious arguments of carbon lobby hacks. (via World Changing)
Nice, but I can't be bothered to read it right now. I'll look at it the day after tomorrow.

"Thus we will not get involved in political or economic issues that arise when discussing climate change."
Good luck.
Unavoidable.

Good find, thanks stbalbach.

1016, you are right. The following was found in one of their currently front page posts:
"Sadly, in recent years we have become accustomed to a ritual in which the publication of each new result on anthropogenic climate change is greeted by a flurry of activity from industry-funded lobby groups, think tanks and PR professionals, who try to discredit the science and confuse the public about global warming."
On a more serious note, a friend of mine who is quite well informed on this subject suggests that there is one huge issue no one is talking about, at least with any visibility, that's going to smack us all in the face in the next decade: rising ocean temperature. Forget about global warming 50, 100 or 200 years from now, this could cause a general sealevel rise of more than a meter before 2015!
