Detectives learned of the Valentine's Day plan from a Canadian woman who had intended to take part but changed her mind when another woman said she would kill her children first.
That would be murder.

The last line of this Canoe article is the best ...
"The common theme is that these were women who were vulnerable, who were depressed. He invited them to engage in certain sexual acts with him -- and then they were to hang themselves naked from a beam in his house," Evinger alleged. "He was indicating in these chat groups to these women that he had a beam and that it would hold multiple people."
But Klamath County Prosecutor Ed Caleb said that because Krein was living in a mobile home, the idea of hanging bodies from beams may indicate the plot was a fantasy.

Let me get this straight... This means that if you got into a heated fight with someone and told them to go kill themselves, you are guilty of attempted murder. Is it murder if they do actually kill themselves?

jdroth: i think my grammar is ok, but i do not subscribe to the rules of capitalization. i only capitalized his name out of respect, otherwise i would have gone all lowercase.
rooftop secrets: yes, 4 days old... but valentine's day is today... <3 <3
