Ah, the toon filled memories.. Remember all those 80's cartoons that used to keep us amused when our parents were too busy to do the job and game consoles were unheard of? Great little collection of cartoon nostlagia that includes most of the theme tunes and a great Thundercats Bloopers mp3 of Snarf swearing! (some NSFW)

No, I don't remember those. I remember this, though. ;)

Probably because it's a UK site and I don't remember seeing GI Joe on UK TV. But as I aim to please I tracked down another toon site with a GI Joe page just for you EvilKenji (and a Captain N page). I also came across the GI Joe theme tune on epguides.com. Quite catchy!

For all you Captain N fans - The Captain N Network!

Nothing for Starblazers, sorry papercake....

Yeah, Nugget, their GI Joe was our Action Man. But no cartoon.

Cities of Gold! Awesome! Great nostalgia site (except for the layout). Any other bloopers?

sing along everyone:

We're off to outer space, we're leaving Mother Earth
To save the human race. Our Star Blazers.
Searching for a distant star, heading off to Iscandar
Leaving all we love behind, who knows what dangers we'll find?
We must be strong and brave, our home we've got to save.
If we don't, in just one year, Mother Earth will disappear
Fighting with the Gamalons, we won't stop until we've won
Then we'll return, and when we arrive
The Earth will survive with our Star Blazers.

I was in College. I flunked Accounting because of Starblazers (witch aired at the same time as my Acct class). That and because of the cheap, readily available pot of the early 1980's.

Damn you Derek Wildstar!

Weird. In the UK, teenage mutant ninja turtles are called teenage mutant hero turtles. Doesn't have the same ring to it.

There's no Gem on this site either. Gem was the greatest.

Uh - actually, their GI Joe was our Action Force...

Sing with me: "Action Force against Cobra the enemy, Fighting to save the day. They willl never give up, they're always there - fighting for freedom over land and air. Action Force are there! Action Force!"

*cough* Sorry - I think that it's been inextricably burned into my memory :-)

Action Man was something else, although I think that Action Force branched off from Action Man way back (becoming something like "Z Force", IIRC).

Anyways, great site - I used to love things like the Mysterious Cities of Gold, Dangermous, Count Duckula, etc. - and I'm sure that I haven't seen half of the episodes that are out there!

80's cartoons sucked. By they time they did away with that ultra-fine Post cereal "Super Sugar Crisp", there was only one hour of Looney Tunes left surrounded in an endless sea of badly animated crap.

Chunder, I was talking about the original toy.
