Drudge site killed to prevent early exit-poll data?

Drudge site killed to prevent early exit-poll data? Seems a little suspicious that the only site that said it would still publish the poll data is completely dead. Is VNS playing hardball?
I've loaded Drudge Report several times this morning. The site always has intermittent outages when people are hitting it hard. If you can't load his site, go to Free Republic's Latest News section -- the members post every Drudge story there.

Agreed, Drudge isn't down. It's no VNS conspiracy. I just IM'ed him and got confirmation.
In addition to Free Republic's Latest section, Lucianne Goldberg is re-posting much of Drudge's stuff.
Also, Inside.com insiders say they'll be reporting exit poll figures that Drudge and others are posting.

Aw, rats! I was looking for a good conspiracy. Damn me and my rumour-mongering!

I happened across George Washington's Visions and Prophecies while at Free Republic, and didn't know whether to laugh or freak out. I think I'll do both.

That Lucianne woman looks like she's being throttled by a fox. And I don't blame the fox.

On Inside.com:
Slashdot found 4,200 people (48 percent) of a total of 8,750 who said they would vote, compared to 991 (11 percent) who chose the ''I won't vote / I'm a loser'' option.
Don't tell me they're taking a Slashdot poll seriously....
