"I want them to remember me with a shudder." Filthy's mind often wanders when reviewing films in his hometown of Armada, Colorado, regailing us with occasional snippets of wage slavery, sympathy, Larry, Jimmy, Gooden, the Harelip of the Armada Tavern, and growing up.
I would of thought Filthy is the antithesis of Pitchfork - he loathes pretentious bastards. (Note, I do read both sites.)

That's Arvada Colorado, not "Armada". Though "Armada" works if we're talking about a review for Bowling For Columbine. Which it seems Filthy failed to review.

Used to read Filthy quite often. My favorite review of his: the Star Wars Christmas Special. He waxes (bitter) nostalgic on the release of Pac-man for the Atari, wookie porn, and other things...

Filthy's review of Mulholland Drive is every bit as flawed and meandering and ultimately as GREAT as the movie. It's the only review of that film that did it justice.
