Wow... This page on CNN.com shows Gore ahead of Bush by only 173 votes! That's closer than Florida. Hagelin, the Natural Law Party candidate, could've been the spoiler.

i hate to be a shakespearean nitpicker, but the linktext here means "why are you new mexico?" which i sincerely doubt was the intention of the poster.
