bigempty: Beautiful photos, beautifully presented.
Looked at two or three pictures, and they were fine, but for some reason they load really really slowly here at work.
But then I clicked on the bio and found this:
The Blue Earth
"Blue Earth Alliance sponsors photographic projects that educate the public about threatened cultures, endangered environments and social concerns."
These include Fear and Rape; Urban Animals;Breast Cancer; and a whole host of others.
Very neat concept.

Yeah, a lot of these are very professional and polished, HTuttle, but there are also many striking, subtle, atmospheric, and disturbing shots, as well. I especially like a lot of the more abstract images, and to me, his presentation is gorgeous.

slow for me, too, BUT!
I am usually one who finds the photo sites others post here as vacuous, pretentious, or way overrated. In fact, I had given up commenting on them because I realize that others' tastes are not my own. The three or four that I waited for here, though, were gorgeous and included a human/humanizing element so often missing from the works lined on FPPs. Thanks, these were nice.

Same. Just about the only photo-posts that I find jaw-dropping are the photojournalistic ones.

Beautiful stuff. Great presentation. Lack of flickr features annoying.
