The film tried to address some aspects of mind control as plausible, until Lansbury mentioned the transmitter in his tooth. At that point the video just flashed up a bunch of X-rays and then went on. It seemed like the filmmaker wanted the audience to come away with the feeling that there was a transmitter without backing it up with evidence. (Evidence that I'm assuming didn't exist at all).
Nice use of mind control by the filmmaker.

Yea, it vacillated between ham-fisted and almost not ham-fisted in the ol' tin foil dept. The Buñuel thing was cool though.
