Surely there will be comments on Tom Delay's indictment and (temporary) stepping-aside, but whatever happened to his almost-predecessor, Bob Livingston?
For those who don't remember, Livingston was the speaker-elect who never was, after Larry Flynt got to him. Well, Bob's on his feet running the ninth largest lobbying firm in DC. And guess what, he's connected to the Delay scandal in his own special way. Maybe there's a bright future ahead for The Hammer?
This post was deleted for the following reason: double, please post in the existing thread though
these would've been nice inside the other thread.

Reshape the text and pop these links in the other thread, and flag this one for deletion. You've got some supplementary material that will be missed when this thread gets the ax.

Put the Hammer Down
Okay, not really. But that would've been pretty good, no?
No?

Eh, I feel like axing this one solely because I referred to Livingston as almost-predecessor, which confuses the difference between Speaker and Majority Leader. I could have talked about Dick Armey, but no.
