Well it's the first time I've seen it, and as a sign over the doorway of a used book store in my neighbourhood says, "Any book you've never read before is a new book".

The Library of Congress' American Memory Project offers an even larger collection of images (as well as books, sheet music, etc.), unwatermarked and freely downloadable.

Nice. I appreciate that they 1) Have a separate section on cattle, since apparently neither the Agriculture section nor the Animals section could contain them; 2) have a section on Social Workers that has four pictures of Mother Jones.

That's a nice collection they have there, thanks for the post. Too bad the greedy bastards charge $35.00 for an 8" x 10".

Thanks for the link, Gyan. And, ryanshepard the AMP is totally cool, too. I'm digging through the Printed Ephemera pages, and loving it.
