The inside of my dollhouse is finished at last!

Fantastically obsessive & detailed recreation of Bag End (Bilbo's home from The Hobbit) in dollhouse scale. Pictures from the start of the project here.
Very cool - thank you!

More impressive to Jackson fans than miniaturists, IMO - the furniture is cheap stock dolls' house stuff. The doors are nice work, though.

I love seeing this sort of stuff. Too bad the photos in the main link are mostly so dark... though it does add atmosphere!

Very nice. As a Tolkien geek I love this kind of thing. I can't imagine having so much patience and attention to detail.
However, As a Tolkien geek, I feel compelled to point out that the books seem to indicate most of the rooms open up off a hallway.

If I was going to take the time to make something like that, I think I would at least come up with my own vision of Bilbo's house, instead of borrowing so much from Jackson.

Leon- that was my first thought as well. Perhaps they'll upgrade in time- the good stuff is bloody expensive.
If I were a tiny hobbit, I'd live there anyway. You can never have too much pie.

I think Jackson kept the original full-size house. It's somewhere in a warehouse. The only thing from LOTR that wasn't totally dismantled.
I wants it.

We can reconcile the differences between the in-print endgame of "Return of the King" and the film by setting this on fire.
