The LEGO Suicides. A series of tragic deaths, built block by block. (flickr slideshow; non-slideshow link here)
The first one would be murder, wouldn't it?

I figured this would be minifigs dying, but it's so much cooler. A bit surreal for some reason, like pixels are going to kill us all.

Swallowing a scorpion...briillllliant. Finally, the decision's been made: so long, suckers!
Or maybe that was a vinegaroon...

seconded on the pills.
this is the kind of funny, clever, serendipitous thing I come to MeFi for.

Death by lollipop and bees. I love it.

I thought it was a lobster at first, not a scorpion... which made it rather a surreal death. Either way I want that model, it's cool!

My friends and I have a game we play when we find another friend trapped in a boring or awkward conversation. Friend A positions themselves outside of the visual range of the Friend B's conversational antagonist, and Friend A then proceeds to perform "mime suicide" until Friend B can no longer keep a straight face, at which point Friend A wins a point.
Favorites include sticking one's head in an imaginary oven, and miming death by asphyxiation in a closed garage with a car running. The happy mime smile is required for the duration of the performance.
This site reminds of that game. Fantastic post.

Ok, it's time to set things straight.
These pictures are of me, my girlfriend and her brother, goofing around with lego on xmas eve.
Contrary to what's been posted here and elsewhere on the web in the past couple of weeks, we aren't stoners, we do have a life, and this was not a cry for help. It was a lot of fun, however.
On a side note, even though getting famous was never our intention (hell, the only reason the pictures aren't private is because my brothers don't have flickr accounts), I can't say that getting your pictures linked to by hundred of blogs and viewed by hundreds of thousands of people isn't flattering (even if I did get called a frodo-haired geek). Hell, we've even been featured on TV.
Oh, and Hadroed - great idea. kinda reminds me of the Kate Winslet episode of Extras. I'd have to give it a go at some point.

Those are hilarious. Personally, I'm fond of the look of glee on the girl's face as she takes a flame to the flag. Though, the drinking poison bottle, with the actual poison pouring out is fab, too.

While the slideshow rocks, you gotta see it with the subtitles (photo titles!).
