Friendly monsters in LA

Three Legged Legs animation & directing collective bring friendly monsters to LA (quicktime) based on the art of Jeff Sotto. They also blow up people (quicktime) pretty good.
Huh - there was me thinking that this would be something to do with the Isle of Man...

This is driving me nuts: can anyone tell me who's singing Girl From Ipanema there (in the friendly monsters, in the elevator)? I've been trying to figure it out all morning; it's just about the most covered song ever, which makes looking it up difficult. (The Sammy Davis Jr. version is pretty rockin', though. And I was forced to buy the Mrs. Miller track.)
Nice videos by the way. The milporn doesn't do much for me, but the friendly monsters are welcome at my house anytime.

That's Astrud Gilberto, [itunes link]. Her original 1963 recording of the song with Stan Getz is pretty much the definitive version, probably eclipsing the original original version, composed and performed by her husband João Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim.

I like to think the Kompressor[qt] version is the definitive version...

Kompressor's one of the best things to come out of Ohio. Kompressor break your glowstick! Kompressor eat your candy! Sorry, nostalgia there. I love friendly monsters.

I like the .22 caliber rifle with the little Tasco scope that guy is carrying
I have a Remmington .22 with a Wee-Weaver sight. Almost looks the same. Accurate as hell. Does not make a big boom.
