How I got my groove back

Crippled Dick Hot Wax!...has reissued "Vampyros Lesbos: Sexadelic Dance Party", a compilation of skewed gogogirlloungefuzzfunk tracks from the films of schlock master Jesus (Jess) Franco. Much props to Mondo Macabre, Synapse Films, and Something Weird Video for ressurecting "classic" fringe cinema. (links are slightly NSFW)
I have the earlier release of this. Anyone heard the bonus tracks yet? Worth a re-buy?

It's a shame the CD version is missing Countdown To Nowhere.

Yeah, I've got the earlier CD release, too. Track two, with that growly guy, is totally fucking amazing. That CD rarely leave's my car's 6 disc changer. It's good driving music any time of day or night.

One of the best soundtracks (though it's multi-film) ever. There's also this remix collection (also put out by Crippled Dick Hot Wax!) which is just okay but worth checking out if you're a fan of the original tracks.

The bonus tracks aren't spectacular; the reissued material is definitely the best part.

seargant - for starters: you may like the "beat at cinecitta" series of italian exploitation soundtracks, also on Crippled Dick Hot Wax. Dagored and Easy Tempo are an amazing Italian label that release tons of soundtracks by Piero Piccioni, Piero Umiliani, Ennio Morricone and others that are definitely worth checking out. Also, Peter Thomas (aka Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra) is pretty fucking incredible, especially his album "Raumpatrouille".

I think I'll keep my previous version. Obviously it lacks the bonus tracks, but at least it's in a jewel case. The new version comes in the cardboard case with cheaply glued CD tray.
