Matt and Trey Play 'April Fools' Joke Early

Chef's death a ratings ploy. "The whole quitting thing was Matts idea. They were
just starting their 10th season and were looking for a great idea to spark renewed interest in the show, and it did!"
In other sad news, a real death HAS occured.
I think I need to find an RSS feeder that ignores all posts from Internet Jackass Day.

Here's why this one in particular sucks.
Isaac "Chef" Hayes, who made public that he was leaving South Park last month due to a the fact [sic] that Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the shows [sic] creators, made an episode making fun of his religion Scientology [sic], today announced in an exclusive interview with TVEps that this not the whole truth. [sic]
In the season ten premier [sic] of South Park two weeks ago, Hayes' [sic if you're a real pedant] character was the butt of every joke on the show, and eventually, by the end, died a horrific death. At the funeral, the characters all paid respects to Chef, noting that he was
Fooling people with a fake news article requires that the news outlet be somewhat plausible. This sounds like it was written by a twelve year-old and proofed by a nine year-old. Ugh.

I guess if you wanted to cause the most confusion in a terrorist attack on the US, you'd do it on April 1.

I'm not sure if I find a prank less funny when it's completely incompetent or when it's too well done.
In any case, no one's going to believe that the supposed death of Bill Gates qualifies as "sad news," so this link definitely fell into the former category.

Anyone who spells "Hayes" as "Hays" is, well, I don't even have to finish this sentence. That's how bad the link above is.
