This science fascinates me and is worthy of further study.

Nothing quite like a combination of sexual fetish and OCD, is there? :)

Some (a lot?) of it is obviously fantasy, rather than observation. That pushes it from "one person's collection of data" into "PR0N".

Newsflash: Rugage has been superseded by the muffin top or dorsal cleavage. And isn't hairage (NSFW) simply TMI?

Someone should remind this illustator that if he doesn't like drawing heads he can always crop the image.
Picky, I know...

not picky, maryh--that weird, fleshy web of headlessness freaked me the heck out!

I want to thank you all for your observations. It's not often that I get a chance to actually get reactions and yours are insightful and fun. I'm not sure anyone really wants answers but I do have some. First, I appreciate the references (links) and checked them out (history, physics, wholesomewear (definitely an addition), and the rugage enrichments. Hairage, BTW, can also be a large N negative, as well as adjacent to inguinal. Anyway you've made work for me to make it better. Not sure meaning "OCD". Re "PRON" Bikini Science is what one might call "pseudo sociology"; it does incorporate observation and regimen and discovery, but it is also fantasy, art, storytelling, softshoe and myth. If anyone really cares what is real or not we can go there. Yes, the site was designed 1997, but versions of it go back to early CD-ROM and hypermedia, when it became apparent that one could build viable who-what-when-where-why systems; we agree it could use a facelift, but our current mission is to flush out the missing pages and populate all the thumbs. Then we can pretty it up and make it more utilitarian. About drawing heads or not, including cropping them out of photographs, that's a whole subject. Anyway thank you all, Judson Rosebush (Chief Bikini Scientist).
