The documentary Sir No Sir! (embedded video) looks quite good ... I missed it when it was playing nearby, have to wait for it on Netflix.

Also don't forget Why We Fight, (which is like a big long BBC version of that What Barry Says thing) linked to on mefi before.

Yeah, it's good, but it is essentially an advertisment in disguise for the "Sir No Sir" documentary.

Wow! That first one was good, but who the H E L L gave that speech in the second one? That was incredible! Seriously, does anyone know who that was? WeWilllNotBeSilenced indeed!

The technical production for both of those was fantastic.

True, the first one is really an ad for a documentary, but I'll be damned if they didn't do an excellent job of formatting the message. I also think the quality of a lot of the imagery suffered. The stock footage used wasn't that degraded.

The second one is simply incredible. I've read that speech online in the past few weeks, but I too have no clue who it was. The way the second one played with the visual medium in presenting and framing the words - subbing pictures, changing colors, and constantly moving things in innovative ways - was superb, and really does justice to making you notice the words and their meaning. I'd be surprised if the producer of that one didn't get an A+++ in some film classes.

The speaker was Reverend Graylan Hagler, who also has some interesting things to say about Pat Robertson.

The Rev. Hagler speech was pretty impressive. I have a hunch that the producer has spent a little time in the demo-scene here and there...

thanks Astro Zombie!
Rev. Graylan Hagler, I'm on your team.

I've always liked this flash. Subtle, and I dig the music (Kaizer's Orchestra - Bak Et Hallelujah)

I searched around a bit, and here's the (rather unpretentious) site for Hagler's church. And the man has a sweet OT beard ...

Wow. That second one is incredible. Even though it happened last year, I didn't hear about Bush making fun of the WMD search until recently. It must have really pissed off a lot of people. Although I guess not enough for me to hear about it.

Can we get some pro war videos to balance things out a bit around here? I like killing :(

It was disguised?
