Great post, particularly the world processed.

The Wolrdmapper site is great. There is something comical about maps with obese China and the US. It's funny how how Australia is pretty tiny on all the maps, excluding many of the exports.

The infoview app gives me faith that at least SOMEBODY is putting java to good use. I'm addicted to infoporn... anybody else got any favorite equally wow-worthy infographics to share?

Wow...that infoview app rocks.

saw this on rw yday; not infographics per se, but a glimpse of how and what we might be interfacing with in the future...

Wow! look at that population growth. Maybe we should pay people to quit having sex. I'm already doing my part and I could use a few bucks.....

This is good. I actually had a chance to see the "World Processor" exhibit at the P3, a funky museum in Tokyo, many years ago. Nice to see it still making the rounds.

Try the information aesthetics weblog. Lots of juicy infovis on a daily basis.

That's some fine Infovis, youarenothere... I could go through this stuff for days. Often wonder why there aren't collections of the more static versions of this stuff being archived by newspapers and the like. Information Aesthetics gets my bookmark of the week.

Also: I guess it is largely a double post, runkelfinker... but it's worth a second look [maybe?]

Like this post, but less good.

Whoops. That'd be right. Serves me right for posting lazily before bed.
