Storm The House 2

Storm The House 2 is a flash based siege game involving balancing out weapon upgrades with defense & repair upgrades as an ever increasing horde of stick figure villains try to overrun you; bonus Terry Gilliam inspired weapon included at Day 40. For those curious about the original Storm the House, that's pretty much the same game as this one but worse
Yeah, the aiming is pretty crappy. Very annoying game overall.

I like the concept. Unfortunately, the controls suck ass. Thumbs down.

I liked it and didn't really have a problem with the controls. It seemed like a pretty fun couple of hours to me, even if the last few stages before day 40 started to get a bit dull.

If you invest most of the money in gunmen, the game plays by itself.

The gun eventually broke for my friend and I (we were both using Old Glory). I just upgraded enough that I didn't need to play.
Fun game though, I'm at day 27 at the moment :D

At first I thought the aiming was off too, until I realised you need to shoot those little guys twice before they die (unless you're playing on easy mode.)

I've bought enough helpers to leave it playing itself.

I'm on day 32 now. Something special happens on day 40?
I think I found a bug: my wall prices don't get reset to $3000 between games, unless I reload the page. Also, the prices of guns don't seem to have any relation to how helpful they are. I find the best gun is the basic shotgun.

This ends up being a game about investments. Don't buy weapons too early, never buy the shotgun, just get gunmen gunmen gunmen.

The stickman general should be courtmartialed. Attacking on such a narrow front, against such well entrenched and supplied defenders, is sheer insanity.

seriously, that f'ing gravity cannon is like a fakey weapon that your enemies tricked you into buying. Also, I had the same "gun stops working" problem in the middle of day 20something. But by then I had enough silo workers & gunmen that it wasn't a problem.

I stopped helping after around level 32... just bought 5-10 silo workers and let the AI defend the base without me.

"Well, it's been a long, hard fought battle, but Storm The Castle! finally has a bass player!" I wonder if he's a stick figure? Unleash the fury of your creativity! ...or not. Specialize in damaging buildings from a distance! Defend your people from the demons of saiten! (sic) Learn the ways of the stick ninjas, then die with style! All these links I ran into, and not a few annoying popup ads, while trying to remember where I first found Defend Your Castle; which is similar to Storm The House, but, y'know, funnier. Of course, truth be told, I probably found it here back in 2003, but shush. Don't tell nobody.

Haha. This game shouldn't be fun.
Gravity Cannon is excellent, maybe too much so. Just align it near where they're all coming in and *whoops* everything goes up.
Keep hitting reload.

I got to level 9 or 10 or so, then bought the gravity cannon. The next level happened to be when the enemy tanks roll in, and the gravity cannon happens to not do shit against the tanks. Thirty minutes of play were over in about a minute. Stupid.

Gravity cannon is horrible! The gun simply doesn't fire or reload fast enough to deal with the onslaught of tanks around day 30, whereas the sniper rifle is still extremely efficient at wiping out said tanks. I went from routinely finishing the level at 1000/1000 to dying as soon as I bought the gravity cannon.

The tanks take a few hits of the gravity cannon, and kinda need to be hit off to the side. Nothing nicer than four tanks going up all at once.
