Where the hell do these people live that they get so much dust on their cars?

The front page of the post points out that the artist lives off 1.5 miles of dirt road that is amazingly dusty.

Oh, these are great. I wish I found them serendipitously in real life.

hi,
Great piece of art, although I must question if it is actually real!
By the way, wouldn't mind such a desgin on my car - it definately qualifies, as it has not been washed for over 6 months now!
thanks
John

johnsaunders, don't sign your posts "john". Notice that no one else is signing their comments. Also, and I say this with faith & charity in my heart, just in case you're tempted to do so in two more comments, don't post an article to the front page with a link to your personal website.

I'm pretty sure this guy lives in Austin or the surrounding area. I remember seeing a newspaper article about him a few months ago.

Awesome. My head would explode (in a good way) if I found something like this on my car.

Sort of like Sand Castles but in 2-D - kudos to this guy!

The guy does indeed live in or around Austin (that explains why he has a drawing of the K-EYE news anchors towards the end of the gallery).

These are great. They seem to have picked up a couple of cars to own that lend themselves to becoming canvasses as well.

This is why there's no such thing as too much time on your hands. Fun!

I'm totally unsurprised this guy is from Austin... this is the kind of thing that really makes me miss Texas. I lived in Houston for 10 years... there's a wonderful counterculture of amazingly creative, wacky art stuff going on (much of it vehicular). A walk around Montrose might change your perception of the city.

"What happens when it rains?"The painting is washed away I'm sure. A lot like buddhist mandala sand art.

After the World Cup, my dad wrote "MAIS POURQUOI" on his dusty window.
