Let me be the first to say that I respect anyone who is willing to sing a patiotic song and put it online, whatever the reason might be. I would hate to think that the MEFI community would find this cause to make fun of the chap for some reason.

I am having, however, a difficult time attempting to determine what the Sarg intended with this post. A little more information might be helpful...

But, at least it was SFW.

If there were something unusually amusing about this, it might be the best of the web. As it is, it's utterly mundane. The only thing I can guess was thought to be amusing was the guy's obesity. Whoopee.

Oh my God, he's so fat. And you know, I don't think he can sing. People that fat shouldn't be allowed to sing anyway... though at least, while they're actually singing, they're not cramming their greedy mouths with more sweetie treats, chips, and what-all. But someone so fat posting their video on the Internets? It's an outrage! Where is this boy's clearly underdeveloped sense of personal shame, other than in the acting out of his clearly-overdeveloped eating habit? Wait -- I know. I'll post a link to his ill-advised attempt to sing on MetaFilter, and then maybe he'll feel really, really ashamed -- enough to, one hopes, pry himself away from the table the next time his mum lays out the obligatory smorgasbord. Woops -- second thought -- someone's already posted the link. Well, I'm proud to be part of an online community that can play such a crucial role on the ever-escalating Global War on Lard-Ass Terrors. Or maybe I'm missing the joke? Perhaps the joke was on the kids who posted insults under the pathetic fat guy's video? Ah I get it now. Well, in any case, down with fat people who can't sing... and the idiots who insult them! Ah. Now I feel better.
