Plan of St.Gall

The Plan of St.Gall - QTVR models and hi-res zoom-able images - an idealized plan for an entire 9th century monastery complex.
I'm surprised no one has made a game level out of it. It's authentic, unlike most of the stuff out there. In fact it is the only surviving architectural drawing between the end of the Roman Empire and the 13th century, the so-called "Dark Ages" from which most fantasy is based.

..and by converting to a 3D game engine it might actually have the side effect of helping advance the research and understanding of the plan.

The QTVR is loading reeeeally slowly, so I'll get back to you on that. But the images are cool as hell! Thanks!
