this guy never ceases to entertain me. whether it was his open letter to gwb, his recent attempts at blogging, or today's invitation to foreign tourists to verify that his nation's nuclear facilities are, in fact, for peaceful means... it all has such a comical nature. not so much funny ha-ha, but funny holy-shit-the-middle-east-is-falling-apart-and-there's-nothing-
we-can-do-to-stop-it..
whatever. two tickets to tehran for me
This post was deleted for the following reason: this is kinda crazy.
I think you just bought yourself one ticket to DeletedLand.

Assuming you're not passed out yet, I think it's important that you look at Iran's bigger picture.
Sure, Ahmedinejad is a step back from Khatami, but he's absolutely analagous to GWB, which is to say that he's inept and will, because of his ineptitude, cause the population to associate all of his failures as failures of his ideology.
He'll be voted out, the moderates will be back in, and in ten years, we'll laugh at how the US and Iran both had abyssmal presidents for a couple terms, then managed, through the democratic process, to make things better.
We have a lot in common with Iran. Long history of civil society and democratic culture.

EarBucket : Please don't drink and post to the front page.
Hear hear! Save your drinking for your comments. It doesn't clutter up the front page and inevitable hilarity ensues.

Why is your first link to an airline site?
Why doesn't your SHIFT key work?
Dude, we know who the president of Iran is. Please try harder in future.
