Ansett Australia's perfect safety record is assured. They haven't operated since 2002.

The fake nuclear attack cards from Rhomboid's second link are hilarious. This one in particular illustrates an important life lesson.

I had no idea that Southwest has never had a single fatal event in its entire operating history (since 1971). Makes me feel a lot better about flying them all the time.

Metafilter: Please do not defecate on our floors

Well, that's only a technicality. A plane killed a six-year-old last year, but he was in a car the plane hit (I was between flights when I heard about that one), and a bunch of passengers killed another one because he was crazyscary high, and not just in the literal sense. The first CSI I saw was loosely based on that one.
So you see, my life is based on Southwest plane mishaps.
