CAGubernatorial Election Results As a resident of CA I about spilled coffee on myself when I saw this map of 'blue state' California's governor election. I haven't heard one good thing about Arnold- what happened?
This post was deleted for the following reason: not that interesting of a website being linked here, eh? Toss it into one of the other election threads as a comment
We've had one Democrat governor since 1983. Where have you been?

I didn't vote for Arnold but he hasn't sucked since he got slapped down a few times. Angelides didn't really project any sense of purpose as a candidate, other than to be the the dem alternative. Now we just get to wait and see if der Governator reverts to his old ways.

Honestly not that different from the 2004 presidential election map, just a bit pinker.

But you've heard of Arnold, right? What have you heard of Angelides, good or bad? The man suffered by depleting his campaign war chest in a stiff primary against a well funded opponent (Steve Westley), and he never managed to mount a credible media campaign in the long months between the June primary and November. His loss was a foregone conclusions months ago.
Still, interesting map. I didn't realize that Angelides actually carried two counties.

Wow, have you been paying attention to the news at all for the past few months?
Ahnold has improved his numbers a lot by taking responsibility for his mistakes before the ballot initiatives and so on, and working with the dems.
