Galactus, Jack Chick style

Galactus is Coming! Galactus is coming to eat your planet, and nothing can be done to stop him! There is only one way to be saved!
Much better than Ultimate Nightmare/Secret/Extinction/Warren Ellis needs a new garage.

You know, theology on Earth 616 must be totally fucked up by now.

I thought that was pretty great ... though to be sure, I'd much rather just have this as a bumper sticker.

I'm a big fan of all of the recent portrayals of Reed Richards as an insufferable asshole- see Jay Pinkerton's take, or check out the Venture Brothers episodes with Professor Impossible. I'm glad that someone else wants to choke that ridiculous smarmy prick.

The new movie must be coming out. Must be why there is all this viral stuff out there to remind me who Galactus is.

I forgot the MeFi thread that mentioned it, but the Chick parody on the decline of House music was funnier.

Not enough of the anti-hero spouting worldly statements.
Still, quite enough for me to howl with nostalgia.
Thanks for sharing.

Funny. My much-neglected FF site also pays Mr. F the respect he is due. [self-link, obviously]

WHO WILL BE EATEN FIRST? NO ONE will be saved! EVERYONE will die and mankind will come to a horrible end!

God that sucked.
Not as much as the last episode of Planetary though.
Also Warren Ellis is the only personin the world who likes Studio 60.

Notice the pipe? Methinks that Reed Richards is Bob Dobbs. (or vice-versa!)

This is the part where we launch the three space-arks to save ourselves, right?

Heh. I thought that was pretty funny. Religious tracts have always been ripe for parody, but there aren't many who take up the task.

Actually he has been fairly critical of Studio 60 aside from this upcoming episode and the pilot.

Pfft. You believers crack me up. I mean, it's always 'the giant guy who lives in the sky' with you people. Answer me this, if Galactus is real, what is he standing on? And where did he get the giant knife and fork?
Next you'll be telling me that you believe in the flying spaghetti monster (no relation to Cthulu who would devour our souls in the blink of an eye, cursed be his name).

Nah, there's about five more of them over on the TWoP forum for the show. Their posts are full of apology and fear.

quin - Galactus stands on his planet/spaceship of course! Between snacks he shrinks down to a mere 50 foot tall and hangs out inside it.
