"At that moment, everything made sense. Hay formed into strange glyphs, the strange moaning beneath a cacophany of carrot munching, that eerie greenish glow from beneath the litter box. It was then, Harrison, that I lost my mind and my free will. I became a slave to Them and to the Plush Thing they worshiped."

I wanted to find a page about Cthulhu LARP, but apparently no one's willing to photograph themselves doing so.
But I did turn up this fan-built silent film. Looks a damn sight radder than this mess.

If you guys float about S. John Ross's site, you should come across Risus, The Anything RPG.
If you haven't played a pen'n'paper RPG since your last major acne breakout, or you think that RPG = DnD, you might want to check it out. It's quick, fun, and funny. A great way to spend time with your geekier friends.

Here is a cool Lovecraft-themed tabletop game: Arkham Horror is a cooperative adventure game themed around H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Players choose from 16 Investigators and take to the streets of Arkham. Before the game, one of the eight Ancient Ones is chosen and it's up to the Investigators to prevent it from breaking into our world.
It's a rather fun game and includes a lot of Lovecraft's lores, from the ancient ones (Cthulu, Nyarlathotep, etc.) to the locales (R'lyeh, Yuggoth, etc.).

I cant believe no-one has re- (or perhaps re, re, re etc) posted the Tale of the Plush Cthulhu!!! It's a venerable institution whenever the Great Old One is mentioned.

I, for one, am tired of the constant adolescent Lovecraft-fanboyism on these here internets. It was still kind of cute a few years ago, but no longer. There are but so many times you can combine a fantastical cephalapod and the kawaii, and still have it be at all relevant. It's like you guys don't get that H.P. Lovecraft was specifically mocking your obsession with inane fictional myths in his stories.
