I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surpised.
Very funny stuff.

That was much better than it had any right to be. Thanks for posting that.

They were mostly pretty good, but a couple are really outstanding.

I'm more of a DC girl and thus the DKR Snoopy was my fave, but these were all at a high magnitude of rockin'.

Ha! Love the Great Pumpkin/Hobgoblin one.

I was all prepared to loathe the shit out of this but I couldn't. It was too awesome.

Is that real, live cel-shading and ink work I'm seeing? It looks like inks and paints on acetate.

Wow. Peppermint patty as the Woodstock Phoenix is worth the trip.

Man, this plus all the extra (if dated) Peanuts links in the other thread would have made for a super Voltron-esque post.

This was about as awesome a post as I have ever seen in my life. I was also in the "so ready for it to be lame" category but somehow it was awesome. My favorite was the "you hit the jackpot" riff. That and Galactus...

Lucy as the Hulk is my favorite.

When I was in high school someone brought in an x-rated Peanuts knock off comic book, which has permanently soiled my brain. I've never heard the Peanuts Christmas music the same again...

Wow, fun! Great imagination on all of those.

Nathanial Hörnblowér: i'll probably be regretting this in a second, but now you've got me curious. i wanna see...

Divabat, I searched for a while but with no luck. This was in the late '80s and the comic was called Penus, if I remember correctly. The same person also had an Archie comic, but I resisted looking at that one.

I'm with bhayes82, from the description I was expecting to see the Penuts characters drawn Marvel style, not the other way around.

Not that Marvel heros drawn Penuts style isn't cool, I like it a lot.

Shoulda put this into my first post.

Nathanial Hörnblowér You do know that the guy who designed the Archie characters was a pin-up artist, right?

Sotonohito, didn't know that.
