Impacts of Climate Change, the Potential Impacts to 2050 of a Mid-Upper Greenhouse Gas Emissions Scenario. From Global Business Network.
I liked Peter Schwartz and GBN's early work, but they seemed to have fallen off the radar in recent years - good to see they are still around...
I'll read this later, but is there a short summary anywhere?

From Tadellin's link: according to one scientist's controversial theory
Thank God! One scientist in the world doesn't think climate change is anthropogenic! Phew! That was a close one. Our species almost had to learn from a collective mistake there for a second. Glad we dodged that bullet.

Instead of starting with climate change and working out toward impacts, we focus on systems that are already generally vulnerable first, and then consider what the geophysics of climate change may do to them.

The Mars things is hilarious. While we have spent billions of dollars over the past 50 years and thousands of scientists careers trying to determine if global warming is actually happening here on earth, a single study of Mars has determined that a small piece of ice is melting at one of the poles.

Why don't we just stop polluting the planet for fuck sakes. Where's the harm in that? Oh yeah, there's still a hundred trillion dollars worth of oil still in the ground. That's a lot of product that still has to be sold.
Just wait 'til a billion Chinese start living like the obese pigs in the West. The planet is quickly going to turn into a massive garbage dump.
