Happy Easter to my peeps

Peeps Show. The Washington post was expecting a dozen or so entrants for the first-ever Peeps Diorama Contest. They got somewhere north of 350 from across the world. Photos.
Fun! The peeping tom at the shower window was my fave, by far.

And how appropriate that there is even a section on sexy Swedish easter witches.

Dude. They're making official contests out of something I did for years, and nobody told me?
I'm totally peeped off, man.
(This is completely peeping awesome.)

Never heard of these things. I assume they're American but it says they got entries world-wide. Weird.

I did an Oedipus peeps diorama in a classical lit course once. Red sprinkles for bloody eye sockets.
Peeps are so revoltingly sugary that there's no option but to play with them.

For the other non-Americans amongst us, the wikipeeps page. Apparently they're better eaten stale. Sounds great!

I've always thought those Peeps look a whole lot tastier than our Cadbury's Cream Eggs. However, I'm a little disappointed that none of these Peep Shows reproduce the old Times Square theatres like Peepland and Peep-O-Rama.

PeterMcDermott,
We do have Cadbury's Cream Eggs here, and I think they're much better than Peeps, but you can't really compare them. cowbellemoo is right. Peeps are basically a blast of sugar, which to me are great the first few times, but they quickly become disgustingly sugary after you've had a few. Besides, as the commercials tell us, Cadbury's Cream Eggs are where cute egg-laying bunnies come from. Why do you hate bunnies?

But you can have a few Peeps. I defy anybody to eat more than a single Cream Egg.
Much too sickly.
Besides, everybody knows that the bunnies come from Lindt, not Cadbury's.

Cadbury's Cream Eggs are a pale shadow of the truly superior Cadbury's Caramel Eggs!!
Stale Peeps are second place but Caramel Eggs are No. 1

While clearly not as large, the Sacramento Peep-Off, now in its tenth year, has been supporting a Peeps Diorama channel for, oh, must be six or seven years now.
