Online coin generator. Sure, it's in German, but you can figure it out.
When I become Empress of my own country, I shall use this site as the National Mint.

Oh, probably NSFW due to a bare-breasted damsel being one of the stock images.

I put the piece of tail on the "heads" side of the coin.
This way, I should always get to break when playing pool.
Just for good measure, I put the Pope is on the tails side, with the caption "Pontiff assus est", and to top it off, made it a 69c coin, so heads & tails are interchangeable, anyway.
With any luck, I should be shouted a drink to go with my game of pool.

hm, interesting design, but i'm unsure of what to make of the six stars. at first, i was tempted to think that this was a reference to the period before podcasts became a separate subsite, but it would've made no sense for you to have counterfeited a faux-historical coin, unless you had some sort of personal agenda against podcasts (which i'm not ruling out, by the way). but what interests me more is the apparent disjoin between beans & the implied butter-eating, considering that the latter does not require the former, and the former in no way implies the latter. it was also curious, to say the least, that beans were chosen as the denomination, rather than mushrooms, which happen to go better with butter, eg fried or perhaps wrapped in aluminium foil on a bbq & allowed to sweat & absorb the buttery goodness. in contrast, beans are known to be far better with cheeses or sour cream than with butter, so i guess overall you are asserting the superiority of pulses over fatty dairy products, and thus weighing in on the side of those around here who like to act smug in lolfattiez threads. am i right?

I don't know what you'd buy with these. But it'd probably rhyme with fire. Or desire.

Wow, I just realized that I never look at the tags before I click links.
posted by glycolized at 2:51 PM on August 2, 2007
Yeah, because the tags aren't on the mefi front page, or are they?? Am I missing something?
Therefore, it wouldn't kill the poster to put nsfw somewhere in the headline that will appear on the front page. I know I'm not the only person clicking links from the front page.

hm, yeh, the tags only appear when you go into the "comments" view. like you, i never pay attention to tags. maybe they'd come in useful if i felt like browsing an area of interest, but that's not how i've been using the site these past few years. i also accidentally found boobies on my screen at work, but becoz it was a smallish & relatively innocuous pic i didn't worry too much. but yeh, nsfw on the front page would be appreciated.
