My First 3D Movie

NiceBot: My First 3d Movie (NSFW). Made in Macromedia's "Extreme 3D" and Avid VideoShop in 1996 or 1997 by an unusual 13-year old. Slightly riffing on software failure and Asimov's three fundamental laws of robots.
This post was deleted for the following reason: I sort of think that this may not be something you should have postd to metafilter which is a more polite way of saying "wtf guy, this looks really self-linky" -- jessamyn
I laughed, I cried, but most importantly, I grew as a person.

Characters seemed two-dimensional.

Man, I remember when being a retard thirteen-year-old on the internet used to mean something, maaannn.
No kidding. Man, I have some zip disk somewhere with some quicktime video I made in highschool where the heads in grant wood's American Gothic Bop up and down while the background twirls around in a psychedelic pasteche. And uh, I remember trying to load it up a couple times in the 90s and I could never get it to play on my PC.

He likes robots and cussin'. What's unusual about that for a 13-year-old?

P.S. The domain linked in monaco's profile is owned by the same person that owns the domain in the profile for the guy that uploaded the YouTube video.
The name of the YouTube profile is thatgirlismine, and the email contact for the registrar of the domain linked in monaco's profile is thatgirlismine@gmail.com.

I thought that might be the case, but I checked the profile and monaco's been a member here since '04. I guess I assumed that no one would wait that long to self-link something so . . . underwhelming.

I was more suspicious because that video was only uploaded to YouTube yesterday, and it's just not interesting enough to have spread to Metafilter so quickly.
