I've seen this aircraft wire twisting tool sold at a local art and craft supply store here in Seattle. I made one myself out of an old push twist drill that can be set to twist either right or left handed threads. Boeing Surplus periodically sold partial spools of stainless steel aircraft safety wire which came in several thicknesses, and I own several spools.
Despite the plethora of tools, I've yet to really come up with an innovative type of wire art, so I'm always intrigued when I see others produce good stuff. I've watched people make chain mail, and I remain enthralled.
The All Wired Up stuff is good.

Great stuff, nickyskye. Love their vintage children page. A recent discovery I've enjoyed: Gallery of vintage mandobabes.
