semi-related: The Twelve Days of Christmas, Twin Peaks style.

Indeed, darkstar, indeed. Or would that be Baby Cthulhu?

Don't make Baby Cthulhu tear your soul out from your as-yet-unknown orifice with his facial tentacles!

Funny. Although, also, another demonstration that crooning is dead, and the closest we can come to it is singing like wanna-be vocalists for Disney features, or sounding like we are singing showtunes in a Chelsea piano bar. And that's sad.

Cthulhu deserves proper crooning! After all, the dawn of the American crooner happened almost exactly simultaneous to the time Lovecraft was writing.

Having purchased this when it first came out, I must strongly encourage its repeated playing, as the dulcimer tones recorded therein are PROVEN to ward off Byakhee.

Someday I'll actually get the actual albums. They've been on my list four Christmases running now, someone is bound to get the hint eventually.
