Yeah, the comment on JiG say its relatively easy, but the challenge is in bettering your (or others') score.

I keep forgetting to reset my elements.

After a few rounds and I had significantly upgraded my towers, I didn't really even need to pay attention. I just kept hitting go, then resetting the elements if any got taken. The last 30 or so levels just went by like that.

okay, I enjoyed this way more than other games of it's type. The fact that as long as you understand what you're doing there is little risk of losing is neat, because then you're left with the risks and challenges of getting a better score. At times that endeavor becomes HECTIC. In three plays I managed to double the score of the first. woo.
I swear, I WAS going to be productive today.

I fluked out and got 37,127 once.
I haven't been able to break 32k since then.
30k I can hit consistently though.

Okay, 66,819 on my third game. And way past bedtime.
I didn't buy any of the extra elements, and I tried to spend all my money on the interest rate bonus. I was able to keep $2000-3000 in the bank for most of the game which led to a lot of bonus points. I just used a concentrated area with even numbers of fully upgraded purple and green towers.
I bought the blue freeze element on the last level to slow down the bad guys enough to survive.
Wondering how the people in the top ten got to 250k....

I can get around 40-41k somewhat consistently now. I'm still clearly overbuilding early on so there's room for improvement.

104444 on my second try.
Don't worry about increasing your interest rate thing--it doesn't actually increase the money that you get, but rather the point multiplier for the interest. Dropping six tokens for a modest point increase doesn't make sense when for a single token, you can get an extra 2000 points using the dare.
All right, here goes another wasted hour . . .

96360. D'oh! What made me think I could take the final level on Double Dare?? If I hadn't done that, I would have an even higher score.

65k now... I really wish you could save and reload at each level. It's so painful zipping through a higher level and thinking "I could have gotten away with a double dare and/or fewer upgrades there" because you gotta go back and do all the earlier junk again.

Oh that's cruel. If you register, it keeps track of how much (total/cumulative) you've been playing a particular game. There's a metafilter group if you register btw.

81,983. Died on level 50 as the last creep with my element had a sliver of energy remaining and slid off the screen.

119141, which puts me on page 4 of the top scores. My tips: only use tokens to replace elements and for dares. Don't buy any elements after purple. Pretty much dare every level you can, certainly basic grey levels, and keep an eye on when the last creep dies. If your last creep dies before he turns around, dare next level or if you're daring, double the dare. Don't pay for anything in advance of needing it. Use fully upgraded dart towers, slow towers, and maybe two of the awesome heavy duty purple ones.
If you haven't noticed, the creeps carrying the elements are slowest, and if you have more than one element, you cannot die on a boss level.

49171.
For those who haven't played it all yet, there is an end (there are only 50 levels), but getting through all 50 takes over 30 minutes.
And yeah, the five bosses in level 50 took all my elements after all that work, too.
