How many times has the art world fallen for hoaxes like this? This one is even worse than the paintings by chimps and elephants and three year olds that were foisted off as being by masters, and roundly praised.

What I think makes this interesting are two things: that there were hoaxes within the hoax, and that there were real exhibits after Maver's "death."
