This is fantastic. The interface, animations - everything's really well thought out and executed.

I never could get the hang of the eskimo roll. This might have helped even me...

I have been thinking about getting a kayak to use on the river near my house; these tutorials are just the thing that may inspire me to take the plunge. Great post!

Thanks, this is great. Mr. thinkpiece capsized recently and had a very hard time (we were in calm water so it was hilarious to watch) getting back in the kayak -- it seems like it would be easy but it's not. I'm going to send this paddling tutorial right on over.

That's just great. That's the first time I've been able to envision an eskimo roll in my mind and have it make sense.
