Got a stiff neck while playing...

I admit that I have no idea how the 'evil' tiles spread, and thusly how to manage them.

Neat idea. But why did it accept "mano" when it didn't accept "foie"? French-hating Mexican programmers?

DU: No, it didn't accept 'que' either.

Man, I played this for, like, two hours before I got bored and quit.
The flashing tiles are the ones that spread, and you have three (I think that's right) chances to make a word with them before they spread.
It does get obnoxious when the protected letters show up next to your castles, but I was always able to find a word.

It accepted the word "UNS" but rejected "LONDON." "UNS" is apparently the abbreviation for unnilseptium, the deprecated name of element 107, Bohrium.
In short, I am disappointed by this game's disctionary, and by the inability of the scientific establishment, for over fifty years, to come up with a new element that does something besides be not enough of it to see and immediately turn into something else anyway.

J Frickin Christ, I've been playing the same game FOREVER. I must sleep. I have work tomorrow.
I'm at 505369 so far... whole different game once you realize a few tricks (which I only did about 20 minutes ago), such as always using a spare letter if that's what it takes to get a 5-letter word, because you then get your coin back. And I kept forgetting what the special word gets you but now I'm always on the lookout so I can get that bomb -- at a cost of 1 coin if I'm a letter short, no problem.
But can anyone tell me why there was this terrible long period where spare letters were not available, even though I had coins? I thought they were gone for good.

"Seems to take a lot of British spelling."
you mean correct spelling.
also, it accepted "T*TS" where * was one of the wildcard letters. trying to think of a word that fits there other than the obvious and i'm not coming up with anything.

Tats? Another word for dice.
What could you do when the red tiles with the weaponry but no letters showed up?

Best word for level 9? "Fannies".
And you thought you were helping, word game.
Great link though, thanks STV. Also, Clave, it accepted my TRAIN, did you have them clicked in the right order?

It's very similar to Bookworm which is a fun game, too. The normal mode on Bookworm isn't quite as frantic and is easily played in small three minute chunks on my cell phone...
