webofdeception.com is a bizarre, timecubesque linkdump maintained and updated by private investigator and domain squatter Joseph Culligan. In addition to sleazy dirt-digging on various celebrities and politicians, Culligan also includes a huge resource list of links to databases and public-record searches.
My favorite part was the document archive; highlights of the weird crap he's found include:
Letter from Elvis to Nixon, asking to meet with the President and be appointed a federal agent
White House internal reaction to Elvis' request
Immigration papers of the Sound of Music family
First draft of Roosevelt's "date which will live in infamy" speech
Letter from young RFK to his brother
Enjoy!

It's like the the smoking gun. The moronic, tinfoil adorned cousin of the smoking gun.

About 30% of the (huge) page is commented out, but is easily visible in 'show source'.
I found it because the 'Linda Tripp' link goes nowhere.

Shit! He's already onto us!
To Sergeant Sandwich, Nat Lipkowitz: Let us know if webofdeception can look into anything for the MetaFilter group. We enjoy all the listings with items  that nobody can find anyplace else!!!

Whoa, after looking at that site for too long it seems like mefi changed color.
That happened to me, too. For a moment I thought I had somehow ended up on projects; the color seemed to go greenish.

Well, I learned that Vanilla Ice has been convicted of "UNLAW POSS OF WILDLIFE", which, I guess, fills my "learning new stuff on the internet" quota for today. Time to log out.

I suppose there's some sort of public service hidden in there somewhere. Honestly, I didn't need to know that the big oil chiefs drove gas guzzlers. I sort of assumed that went with the territory. Every day I see people with more money than sense.

WTF is with all the tax liens and etc? How come so many wealthy people are so utterly negligent on paying their dues back to society? Buncha assholes.

This is obviously an elaborate study of color perception. The "information" is there only to remove our guard.
Now the MeFi color looks wrong.

Why did Bobby Kennedy write about brother John's birthday present in January, when John's birthday was in May?

This is insanely awesome. And I mean "insanely" in the literal sense.
