Tracking, and now mapping, the entire world.

Remember They Rule, the now-stale site from 2004 that mapped connections between executives and corporate boards? OK, now remember NNDB, the constantly updated collection of unsubstantiated dossiers on "Notable Names" of all sorts? Behold the NNDB Mapper; a They Rule-like visualization tool that integrates the entire database of people and connections. It's fun for conspiracy theorists, gossip hounds and political junkies alike.
They've even got some mefites.

I love the "conspiracy theorists" link for all the sound and fury, signifying nothing.
It's about Washington Officials linking every scandal from JFK to 9-11. You know who's not on there at all? George W. Bush. JFK himself is just some guy, linked only to Dan Rather (lied about the Zupruder film being shot), Gerald Ford (lied to the world about the Kennedy assassination) and Lee Harvey Oswald (assassin.)
Nixon's another interesting one, with unexplained gray-line links to Jack Ruby and Prescott Bush which I am sure have a basis, but it's not seen here.
Anyway, if anyone wants to make a truly terrifying, (but only at first glance) map, they should center it around the Harvard Law Review.

The Ol' Dirty Bastard is described as "Profoundly Deranged Rapper, Wu-Tang Clan"
Actually, a lot of summaries for rappers are pretty great. Snoop's is "Sippin' on gin, juice" Dr. Dre is "Nothin' but a 'G' Thing," Sir Mix-A-Lot is "Seriously, he likes big butts"...huh.

Thank you! I have been sorely missing the usefulness of the They Rule site. I'd love that to be updated, but NNDB is pretty cool too.
