Ha ha, my roommate curses the day Johnny Cash covered Hurt--when he hears this he's going to tear his ears off.

Ha! I knew who it was before clicking the second link. Good job, lore!
Your voice is familiar, soothing and... paternal almost, insinuating, beguiling, hiding an abyssmal evil. You've got to try the physical manifestation of Santa/Satan on for size sometime. I can see it now - the throne of bones there in the center of the mall, the black matted fur and crimson velvet suit, pointy hoary beard, is that blood or cocoa spilled there? shiny black leather spiked belt and boots... minions cracking their faces with smiled, hunched low by some black sorcery into sycophancy and eternal work. I daresay I'd be helpless to resist as you'd take me on your lap and promise me a pony if I was good and gave you my very soul.
Yay! New Fetish!

Lore Sjöberg's new Christmas carol, "Nine Inch Noels", has brought the word "BAD" to new levels of badness. Bad singing. Bad music. Bad everything. This MP3 just oozed rottenness from every bad measure... Simply bad beyond all infinite dimensions of possible badness ...
Well maybe not that bad, but Lord, it wasn't good.

I was merely going to say it was bad, but I got beaten to it. BAD.

This is hilarious, and also fantastic. And I'm a big NIN fan.
Not a huge obsessive one, but I like them a lot.

Thanks, folks. I've been considering trying to do a better, less MIDI-ish version of this for this year. Hell, if anyone out there is better at composing, sequencing, or playing an actual instrument than I am and wants to collaborate, drop me some MeFiMail. I can't offer anything but credit, but maybe...just maybe that's enough.
I'd also love to get an actual chorus or perhaps chorale to record the last part, but I have no freaking idea how to make that happen.

That was fabulous!
Except now I've got the medley running through my head, and I can't stop giggling. How am I going to sleep tonight? If I'm late to work tomorrow, it's YOUR FAULT, Lore!
