How do I do anything? I dunno if the game is just broken for me, but all i can do is stand still on the first level and explode bombs in arbitrary locations. Arrow keys don't move me. I read the instructions, I even disabled FlashBlock and NoScript. Still, this game does nothing.
WHAT DO I DO?!

cj: left click creates a bomb. you're trying to move the bot to the door. rest is pretty intuitive
couldn't get past 26 :(

Oh my god, I figured it out. I feel kind of stupid, and also angry at whoever made this game.
To anyone else facing the same problem: You blow up the bombs near yourself to move your character. Yeah, they don't actually mention that. Apparently people pick that up easily?
grr.

wow i kind of fail. didn't read your whole comment.
intuitive = bombing so that the impact moves the bot. holding down left click changes the size of your bomb

I figgered it out. I think I may be too drunk to pass level 12 though.
Pretty cool game if you can get past the hurdle of level 1.

I have been playing this game on and off for a week or so, ever since it appeared on Good Experience Games. The majority of that time has been on level 33 ("Everest"). I cannot get past level 33.
Every once in a while I am able to get to the second highest platform, the one on the far right, with one or two bombs left. But I can't then get over Everest itself.
I've also tried the other route - going to the platform on the far left, and then trying to jump (almost) straight up. Haven't gotten that to work either.
If anyone has any hints for level 33, both me and my sanity would appreciate it. Thanks.

Funny, it's just a few hours short of being exactly a week since this was deleted for being a self-link *last* friday.
And yeah, level 33 is kinda hard.

I'm stuck on 42 (which is made difficult by how randomly the boxes fall), but I just did 33 again for kicks. You get so many bombs, it's really not so hard. It should only take 3, maybe 4, to get to the top-right platform. Bomb yourself up and slight-right to get onto the left platform, and then from there, it's only 2 or 3 bombs to the top-right. Then you've got 6 or 7 to play with to get yourself over the ice. Might take a few tries, but it's not so bad.

42 took awhile to figure out, and many many reloads to get the falling TNT blocks in the right place. I needed two TNT blocks behind the little guy, but not all crammed up against the wall. Then I detonated a teeny bomb on the exit which got rid of pretty much everything else. A strategic sized bomb propelled the little guy and triggered the TNT for the extra boost you need to rebound off the black bouncy triangle into the goal.
Cute game, a bit frustrating at times, but Fantastic Contraption-style frustrating, which is OK with me :)

I like this game because a>The levels are crudely designed, so you can solve some of them without the not-so-strategically placed explosive devices/platforms, and b>Some levels are designed for pure fun, like the enormous tower of oil cans, which are perfectly useless yet fun to explode. I am tired of games like this which are overdesigned to death, so you can only solve them one way-- the way which the level was written. I am only up to level 30- perhaps my attitude will change if the levels start kicking my butt.

I'm temporarily stuck on level 47 - it seems far random than the preceding levels, but the element of chance and the fact that many levels seem to play out in slightly different ways made the game more enjoyable for me. Good times.

Yeah, this games is great, but I'm stuck on 47 now, too. There's no rhyme or reason. I can't even brute force my way to the exit (which I've done in more than one previous level).

Hm. Actually, that's not so hard. Just had to think about it differently. This is a fantastic timewaster.

For which one? I hinted at 33 above. In 47, I wound up blowing myself straight up off of the right-side platform with a little help.

Got it. I'd tried that before but somehow I was finally able to get BOTH TNT crates over there. Sonovabitch.

Playing for a week? It shouldn't be that hard. I feel a little better now about the many, many games linked off mefi that I fail completely at.

I had to read this thread to figure out that you can vary the power of your bombs, but once I did that it wasn't so bad.. I'm 100% sure I could have solved level 49 with enough tries, but Adam Savage and food made me quit.

The hardness of level 33 was way overhyped. You can get through that in 5 seconds.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE THE BOOM KING!
The fundamental thing that I had been missing on level 33 is that you don't necessarily have to wait until you're at rest to set the next bomb.

I've got a love/hate over how you wizz through a load a levels with no problems then get stuck on one for ages...

You can climb vertically by setting off another bomb under you when you're nearing or at your peak.
For 24, you can get to the platform on the right using only one bomb.
For 33, I just climbed up the left wall.
