Pig Intestine Smuggler Jailed Not everybody's idea of Gourmet food, but...
Some notes of interest:
Sausages are usually encased in intestines - and Cajun andouille sausage is certainly something I'd consider gourmet.
The smuggler's name was Superamaniam. Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Superamaniam! (Well, it amused me)
He was only to be paid $315 for his cargo! I mean, Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick, if you're gonna' go to jail and get fined $30K for smuggling pig intestines, at least make sure you're doing it for a large amount of money!

Pig Intestines = Chitlins = Soul Food at its Level Worst
I shudder. $30K is far too small a fine for anyone attempting to foist off that garbage as a food product.

Hmm, perhaps it was derived from natural flavors.
