I knew hard drive storage was cheap, but I didn't think it was that cheap. Freediskspace.com is offering 300Mb of storage for pretty much anything. They integrate with PCs, Macs, and Linux boxes, in addition to PDAs. That last one I find most curious, because I've never maxed out the storage space on my 2Mb palm pilot before. [thanks bump]
I signed up for this service but alas when I try to upload anything it get an error that says "not enough disk space" and if I download from another person's account I always seem to get some sort of error message. Thus far I have yet get the thing to show any signs of true fuctionality.

disk space is one thing. I wonder how they afford the bandwidth for that. that place only serves one logical purpose...

The press release they put out that generated the link on my part says they are signing up 8000 people a day. I probably should have thought about that a little 8000x 300= 2,400,000 Mb a Day.
