You're On the Clock

A lot can happen in 60 seconds. Such as podcasts of one minute how to's, or technology tips, or even one-minute vacations[previous & ongoing] from the life you are living.
Whoa. Light is pretty fast, huh?

Wait wait wait--let me try that again.
3 seconds: The time between when my browser is resized and when I leave the site never to returns.

Lately the internets reminds me of WLCD.
The woman was watching WLCD, "the browsing station." A lot of football players chased a slippery ball to the accompaniment of synthesized bassoons. The station cut to the WLCD logo, then ran two-and-a-half minutes of pie fight scenes from old black-and-white comedies. Then back to the logo, a big dance number, the logo, and a man in a white coat talking very seriously for a minute and a half about hemorrhoids.posted by fleetmouse at 6:29 PM on September 3, 2008
After a short piece on crippled orphans, the old lady said, "Makes you sad, don't it?"
DU, where does it resize your browser? Doesn't happen to me.

But if I really want to learn something I might be willing to spend as much as five minutes. The same is true when I want to enjoy erotica.

It resized my browser when I clicked on the stopwatch.

It doesn't do it with Firefox 3. My apologies for the resizing with other browsers.

I get the feeling people's main complaint has something to do with browser resizing?
Anyway, the one-minute how-to's were varyingly interesting/helpful, 'cept most of them were like 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. The lying bastards. But I guess that includes the little intro and outro too.
In reality I guess I like the concept more than the execution of all of these little sites. It was a nice idea for a post. But it resized my browser too.

Thanks! Very neat for a little break, especially the vacations. I hadn't seen that before!
